Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry may have broken up after 9 years together, but that hasn’t stopped them from spending quality time with their fam. On July 9, The Lord of the Rings actor dropped a rare family photo from their recent vacation on Italy’s Amalfi Coast.
Deep into his Instagram carousel was a photo of him, Katy, and their daughter, Daisy, on his shoulders. His son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, Flynn, also posed with them as he looked over the Mediterranean Sea.
Fans were quick to commend the former fiancés for still coming together after publicly announcing their breakup. “Life is made up of happy moments and family is the basis!!! enjoy !!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🐟🏄♂️⛵🌊❤️,” one person commented under his post, while another added, “Such a beautiful family. I admire your maturity and ability to put your kid’s needs first and still spend time as a family ❤️.”
According to a previous report from the Daily Mail, Orlando had “long-laid plans for a summer holiday in Italy with family and friends,” which included his sister, manager, son, and Jeff Bezos’ wife, Lauren Sánchez.
His post comes after Katy and Orly announced their split with a statement from their reps. Per People, they “have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.”
The statement added, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
Earlier this month, an insider told Us Weekly that the pair has remained “amicable” and that their separation is “not contentious.” They continued, “Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
